Meant To Be

God wonderfully made EVERYONE: He made NO mistakes: EVERYONE IS MEANT TO BE!

We heard this song, we thought of Chet. Right now at this moment he does not realize that he IS perfectly, wonderfully, beautifully MEANT TO BE. Our prayer for our son is for him to believe the words of this song. God has perfectly, wonderfully and beautifully made Chet and has a beautiful plan for him. We are so THANKFUL that we get to enjoy this ride with Chet as God reveals His plan for him a day at a time. GOD IS SO AWESOME!

Chet finding out he has a family

At 7:50am, we received the email from Jenny as to how it went with Chet. Here's the email,

The package went well. He did seem a little confused but I figured out why when his foster mom came in the room. She came in and started playfully hitting him on the arm, laughing and scolding at the same time. I guess she kept telling him he had a family from America and he kept saying,

"Who would want me? You're teasing me. I don't have a family."

So she was teasing him about not believing her. So I think he was actually in DISBELIEF... they had one of the older girls come in and sign for him. He is a handsome boy and his foster mom seems to have great affection for him. That was nice to see. The orphanage videoed most of it but then their battery died. I should have the video tomorrow or the next day because they had to charge the camera before they could transfer it for me.

We are so blessed!!!

Jan 10, 2011 at 7:59pm our time (China time 7:59am 1/11/11); we received email from Jenny. The email said,

    "I'm heading to the orphanage and hoping to be able to give Zhen Sen his box for you."

We ofcourse so excited, we emailed and texted people to pray. Finally Chet was going to find out that he has a family. Our prayer was for the process to happen today because Chet needs to know. If God wants to bless us with a video and/or pictures then that would be just an added bonus. Our goal, is for Chet to know HE IS LOVED and HE IS WONDERFULLY MADE BY GOD, he has a family who is coming to get him and he will be near his friends again.

12am... still no word how it went. I mentioned to Gary, "Well I guess if we have not heard anything then Chet has the package and it is taking them a while to go through it."

12:30am... decided to go to bed. But every hour I woke up checking my blackberry to see if I have a email from Jenny. NOTHING....

UNTIL... 7:50am...
