So thankful for Chet and Sam.. they are sooo awesome together..

Sam.. who is he... what have we learned..

*full of energy

*can't sit still

* respects his big brother

*bossy

*Chet says "I have a wild brother"

*likes to laugh

*a prankster

*affectionate

*smiles alot

*happy boy

*makes funny faces

*will make you laugh, that is a promise

*very handsome

*can't catch or throw a football but enjoys trying

 *likes to brag on himself

.....DID we mention VERY FUNNY boy.....

 

WE LOVE OUR BOYS... they are so different that only God could have placed them together to make a PERFECT match... and that HE DID!!!!!!

Sam was a little late arriving to the Civil Affairs, so we were standing waiting anxiously awaiting..

As Sam arrived (looking around the room), Chet saw him first and said "He's here, there is my brother." Can't explain to you the feeling that came over us to hear Chet say that. They took Sam to the holding room with the other children being adopted. When they brought Sam to us, we hugged then Sam said "I need bathroom." LOL did we scare him that bad?  LOL.. when he came back to us he and Chet started playing games on PSP and on Chet's phone. Since Chet has experienced this feeling he knew just how to help his brother feel comfortable... He did just that. Chet has been AMAZING! We knew he would be but he has went over and beyond anything that we could have even imagined.

2 hours we get Sam

             In TWO hours this handsome boy will NOT be an ophan anymore!!!!!!

We are so excited to see our son/brother face to face at 230pm (China time)

Believe Chet is sooo excited, he got up at 5:38am, took his shower and at 6:10am asked dad to get up and take his shower.... LOL.  

SAM... we are on our way!!!

Orphanage visit continued... what an Amazing day

This day was a TOTAL GIFT from GOD...

Chet's Homeland visit to his orphanage and Deaf school

There are really no words to describe what happened today, Fri Jan 18... the day we have been wondering if it is a good idea or not.... going back to the orphanage, the only life Chet knew...

But we must say it was AMAZING ... When we first entered we were lead to the meeting room, I was wondering what was going through Chet's mind because there were papers in there maybe seemed like adoption day.  Then some people came in to chat with us, then it was like there was a big announcement made that was heard all over Tianjin that Zhen Sen "Chet" is in town... people just kept coming in so shock but excited to see Zhen Sen. Some stayed with us the whole day, followed Zhen Sen everywhere he went. This was Chet's hollywood moment for sure...

The homeland visit started at 9am, suppose to stay about 30 min, that did not happen.. The director was so grateful to see Zhen Sen again and so grateful to us for taking good care of Chet that he wanted to treat us to a special lunch to show his appreciation.  He went all out. Although we were not sure what we were eating, we were inspired by his generosity. 

We left the orphanage about 1pm..... Enjoy some pictures, you can see how happy the orphanage teachers, directors and kids were to see Chet.

From New Jersey to Tianjin

Due to China blocking internet sites, we have been unable to blog until now....

From NJ to Beijing to Chet's home Province Tianjin..the journey was long but awesome time with Chet. He has grown into a mature young man, willing to help carry luggage, showed a lot of heart from wanting dad and mom taste some things that he likes and if mom did not like it, he wanted to buy mom something she liked, showed a lot of concern for others however doesn't like it when someone does wrong.. for example: we were waiting in line at the train station, when it was time to start loading, people would break in line. Chet expressed concern and said it is wrong to break in line. Ofcourse we explained it is wrong in America but it is the culture of other countries. 

Arrived in Tianjin, we were blessed to be greeted by Chet's teacher from his Deaf school in China.

What's Next.. ummm Chet wants a brother..

Feb 2012....... Chet shares his desire to have a Deaf brother, well... really he wanted a sister, haha,     but, Dad and Mom said brother would be better for you.
 
March 2, 2012.. contacted Madison Adoption Associates to let them know Chet picked Pan Xi Long  from Guangzhou to be his brother

March 26, 2012.. We were pre-approved to adopt Pan Xi Long

                  HERE GOES THE PAPERWORK..... and all the obstacles that satan tries to
                  put up to block God's work.. BUT...

                                             The AWESOME NEWS IS... he (satan) is NOTHING
                                                                            AND
                                           "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR MY GOD"

Dec 21, 2012.. Received travel approval

Jan 16, 2012.. leaving to to bring our handsome son home... SOOOOO EXCITED!!!

will be named Thomas Samuel Fink

Named after my oldest brother who is with Jesus
