May 15, 2010- found out about Chet

May 18, 2010- started praying for God to raise up family
adopt Chet

June 25, 2010- In obedience to God's leading.....

we sent Family Information Sheet to MAA, our interest to adopt Zhen Sen "Chet"

July 13, 2010- Pre-approval from China

July 16, 2010- In Memory of my mom on her birthday, we announced to our family about the adoption

July 17, 2010- sent adoption application to MAA

July 25, 2010- We announced God's direction in our life to our church, Blackwelder Park Baptist Church.

Aug 03, 2010- application to Homestudy Agency

Aug 24, 2010- Homestudy finished, Social Worker sent to
homestudy agency, Nathanson Adoption Services, Charlotte NC

Sept 20, 2010- mailed I-800A

Sept 28, 2010- received receipt

Sept 14, 2010- MAA approved Homestudy

Oct 18, 2010- Received our fingerprint appt notice
Appointment set for 11/5/10

Oct 19, 2010- Early Walk in for fingerprints

Oct 28, 2010- approval notice

Nov 19, 2010- sent Dossier documents to MAA

Nov 23, 2010- DTC (Dossier to China)

Dec 3, 2010- LID (Log-in-date), our dossier (paperwork) has been logged in.

Dec 22, 2010- Letter of Seeking Confirmation, (Letter of Acceptance), China has matched us to adopt Zhen Sen, "Chet"

Dec 27, 2010- Diana from Madison contacted us by email, "Congratulations!!! You received LOA!"

Dec 29, 2010- We received our Letter of Seeking Confirmation, (LOA) packet in mail by Fedex. YEAH!

WHAT'S To COME........

I-800 Provisional Approval

NVC Notification (confirms that our case has been forward to the US Consulate in China)

Article 5 letter

TA (travel approval)

CA (Consulate Approval) (agency will discuss our anticipated travel schedule)

Travel Departure (estimated 2 week stay)
