This is the day that the Lord has made...

Our prayer this morning was for God to bless the day, for the process to go smoothly, for us to have fun together. God answered our prayer.... we are so blessed to have Chet in our lives. Enjoy these pictures ....

We Have Chet!!

No we not foreigners LOL

Gary does not stand out in the crowd, does he?
Temperature we thought felt good, so Gary thought he would wear shorts. When Leo first met us, he said, "you are going to be cold."
Everyone had coats, dressed for our winter, WOW! It felt good to us. But guess who stood out at the train station.

ENJOYING... PIZZA HUT with Leo, our guide!
Sorry Pizza Hut at home... But Pizza Hut in China better.

Guide to inform Children's Welfare Institute

In Tianjin now... exchanged money, ate lunch at PIZZA HUT... went to supermarket to buy drinks and few snacks. WARNING.... do not drink coke from refrigerator in hotel room. 12 ounce can of coke from refrigerator in hotel cost $7...WOW! Around 3pm, we were headed back to hotel to chill and prepare for big day on Monday, getting our son. We asked the guide what is he doing rest of day, resting? He said, "No, going to call Welfare Insitiute to tell them Zhen Sen's family is here and that we will leave the hotel at 9am Monday to head to the Welfare Institute." So around 330pm, Zhen Sen, Chet, knows his family is here for him.

God continues to show us this is His plan... Tonight around 9pm, we turned the TV on HBO. Blind Side was on in ENGLISH. Of all movies, Blind Side, about adopting someone who needed a family to love him.

Stay tuned for MONDAY.... as soon as we can get pictures posted on the blog we will...

Thank you all for the many prayers. Monday is going to be emotional day for Chet, us, his friends at home and all involved.

WE LOVE YOU.... and Praising God for WHO HE IS!

Meant To Be

God wonderfully made EVERYONE: He made NO mistakes: EVERYONE IS MEANT TO BE!

We heard this song, we thought of Chet. Right now at this moment he does not realize that he IS perfectly, wonderfully, beautifully MEANT TO BE. Our prayer for our son is for him to believe the words of this song. God has perfectly, wonderfully and beautifully made Chet and has a beautiful plan for him. We are so THANKFUL that we get to enjoy this ride with Chet as God reveals His plan for him a day at a time. GOD IS SO AWESOME!

ENJOY THIS AWESOME SONG and know YOU ARE MEANT TO BE!

Chet finding out he has a family

At 7:50am, we received the email from Jenny as to how it went with Chet. Here's the email,

The package went well. He did seem a little confused but I figured out why when his foster mom came in the room. She came in and started playfully hitting him on the arm, laughing and scolding at the same time. I guess she kept telling him he had a family from America and he kept saying,

"Who would want me? You're teasing me. I don't have a family."

So she was teasing him about not believing her. So I think he was actually in DISBELIEF... they had one of the older girls come in and sign for him. He is a handsome boy and his foster mom seems to have great affection for him. That was nice to see. The orphanage videoed most of it but then their battery died. I should have the video tomorrow or the next day because they had to charge the camera before they could transfer it for me.
Here are some pictures.
